Health & Safety Documentation
UKCA Marking:P.J.G. Engineers are trained by the British Safety Council for advising Health & Safety matters regarding Automation equipment.
Preparing initial Essential Health & Safety Requirement checklists, writing Risk Assessments, compiling Technical Files and providing all necessary documentation is undertaken by P.J.G.
P.J.G. currently prepare all the UKCA documentation for a number of large machinery suppliers and advise on safety issues effecting the design and manufacture of large automation projects.
Regardless if the system is new or refurbished, P.J.G. will ensure that your equipment conforms to all the latest regulations.
CDM Requirements:
On large installations that involve more than 5 personnel over a period of 30 days or more, CDM regulations may apply and the requirements of any machinery supplier to conform to these regulations will need to be implemented.
As Principle Contractor, there will be a need to control the Health & Safety for the site where you are working and this will require planning, management and training, all of which we can provide. From preparing a Safety Plan and Safety File to conducting Health and Safety on site Inductions, P.J.G. can provide the experience and knowledge required to meet the current regulations.
P.J.G. Engineers can also work on behalf of the sub contractor and will investigate the site circumstances, examine access and consider the facilities available. We will then prepare Method Statements in accordance with our customers instructions and timing, and prepare an Installation Risk Assessment on the hazards that will need to be controlled from site.
